Krypton a deadly legal drug – 9 dead in Sweden

We have written before about Krypton, after reading reports on various forums about undesired side effects, we came to the conclusion that it has nothing to do with kratom. Although advertised by its producers and resellers as natural kratom product,  it in fact contains potentially dangerous synthetic drugs, including O-Desmethyltramadol

The National Board of Forensic Medicine receives reports after various deaths within Sweden , one case involving Krypton led the physicians to investigate the effects of the drug, after this they found several more cases.

The Krypton-related deaths are spread across Sweden and involve both heavy addicts and occasional users, while they all concern people born in the 1970s and 1980s, the newspaper reported.

Krypton is derived from the south-east Asian plant kratom which has been traditionally used for potency and to improve mood. Aside from the leaves and extracts from kratom, Krypton has also been found to contain caffeine and the synthetic opioid O-Desmethyltramadol.

Besides the people suffering from the ill results and side effect, caused by taking this krypton, the whole issue adds to the negative image of Kratom in the press as well. While in fact kratom as a herb is often used by people as a relief for chronic pain and other physical and emotional ailments, not so often as a party drug.

Kratom as a herb is a perfectly safe product, when taken in moderate dosage and not to frequently, taken by thousands of people as a self medication. Thanks to the people marketing and producing products that mimicking kratom, this herb itself might eventually be blamed and banned due to all the negative media impact.
